Ralph Brown

Ralph Brown is CableLabs' Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Mr. Brown served as Senior Vice President of the Broadband Access Department within CableLabs, which is responsible for DOCSIS® and CableHome™ specification development and certification programs.

Prior to CableLabs, Mr. Brown worked for Excite@Home and Time Warner Cable in the area of broadband interactive television.

Mr. Brown earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His Master's thesis was in the field of Speech Recognition. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from North Carolina State University
