Who We Are
The Hollywood Post Alliance®, also known as HPA ® , is the trade association serving the Southern California-based professional community of businesses and individuals who provide expertise, support, tools and the infrastructure for the creation and finishing of motion pictures, television, commercials, digital media and other dynamic media content.
Our mission is to:
- provide a forum for the networking of colleagues and peers who have dedicated their careers to post production, with a goal of representing a large and diverse community of interests and experience.
- facilitate information exchange on issues that relate to business, technology, skills training and industry education.
- become the industry's advocate and speak with the power of the "larger voice" of the entire industry on common issues and topics such as government affairs, local community/business issues and technology.
- provide a platform for: industry events, seminars, electronic e-mail exchange, web based information outlets, and professional special interest groups dedicated to specific skills and areas of expertise.
The Hollywood Post Alliance is dedicated to the notion that in times of technological and economic challenge and opportunity, the post production community can be better served if the entire industry begins to learn and work together.
